Dining @ Maureen

The city has been crazy with Japanese ramen, from Butao's limited edition of 200 bowls of ramen per day, to the 24 hours wait line at Ichiran's door step. People seems to have forgotten the tradition taste of Chinese noodle. Thus, the opening of Maureen brings back a sentimental taste and childhood memories to the locals.

Maureen is a contemporary fusion restaurant with a little bit of molecular cooking, the concept is built around Chinese-style noodles. The menu is concise with not many choices; which suggests the owner chef treats each dish with patient and finesse.

Chinese Wine Egg, layers of favors.
A sesame oil on top of the noodles
Charred Vegetables, it tastes a bit bitter
